This new gig is a definite change of pace. Holy impatient mofos. People act like a quote is life and death. Chill. Turn on the space heater.

It's actually called a PE(professional engineer) but I think mocat is just being modest.

What state did you take it for?

kansas, because that is where i took the FE and got my degree so it was easier to transfer the required info.

my coworker took it in missouri and was notified two weeks ago via email. my notice arrived yesterday in the physical IRL mail. LOL BROWNBACK amirite

Gotcha.  That's awesome man!

Using snail mail makes total sense for KS.  I mean I don't think their mainframe infrastructure could handle an exchange server for certifications lol

I'm a n00b with engineering talk, but wouldn't you take this thing right out of college? what's the difference in pay before taking said test? Don't they still hire you on as a enginner at said company out of college, before taking this thing? I have so many questions, guys!

I mean, that's kind of a big rough ridin' deal. I wouldn't last one week at the engineering school.

I bet, I just don't have the brain for it.

Also, thanks Pett. We booked a Puerto Rico trip (had free flight coupons from my buddy), so I'll be in the pool there!

My job title has the word engineer in it, and I was in the college of engineering. Thats all the professional I need.
