know what's worse than work meetings?  the dumbasses who love to hear themselves speak and talk about off-topic other crap and/or ask questions every single time no matter how relevant the question is.

also i hate the guy who always shows up late and then asks to rehash crap that's already been covered.  nope, sorry sonny.

also hate the girl who sits on her laptop while in my meeting, that crap doesn't fly.  pay attention, i wouldn't invite you to attend if i didn't want you to be there.

then there's the guy who schedules an hour long meeting and immediately starts the meeting with a "this shouldn't take long/the whole time" and then the meeting goes the whole time.  why get my hopes up?

also, no meetings during my lunch time or on monday mornings or friday afternoons

My least favorite meeting person is the meeting person who creates a hypothetical situation in order to ask a hypothetical question at a meeting.  Then my second least favorite person at a meeting is the person running the meeting who indulges hypothetical question asker with an actual answer that takes actual time instead of just saying we'll cross that hypothetical bridge when we never come to it.

He'll back off.  Most of the ppl I have worked for that were micromanagers seemed to do so until they got a good feel for the fact that I wasn't going to eff anything up, then they backed off and gave me a crap load of rope.
