All meetings are pointless.  If you have more than 1 meeting in a day you should quit your job.

Several of those meetings shouldn't involve you, if I have a good handle on your job function that is.
Actually, they all do. I have two territories, so I report to both regional directors, my weekly manager meeting, my COO wants my thoughts on how the new regional directors are doing (Are they interviewing my candidates in a timely manner), expansion involves me, because we're opening practices in chicago now and I need the timeline on when I need to have 4 doctors in these practices. The associate program is knew and my colleague and I need to know the logistics of it to recruit for it. HR quartly meeting is what it is. They lump recruiting in with the HR teams. Regional team meeting is so all of the hr people have the doctors hr ready, so they need updates on start dates, credentialing, etc.

^^^ A lot of borrowing stuff, but ya.

If you are really integral enough to be needed in all those meetings, you should go demand a raise right now.

All those meetings could be handled over email in a matter of minutes.

Seems like the morning meeting of crap getting done that day could have just been an email that read-

Good morning, nothing will be getting done today because we have 9 meetings.

What was the duration of each meeting? Were you allowed bathroom breaks?

I found my 4th meeting today pretty lol/ironic when she was telling me I need to really push my pipeline in Indianapolis right now and I was like this inside my head: "THAT'S WHY I NEED TO BE AT MY DESK RIGHT NOW, NOT THIS RELAY OF MEETINGS!  :curse:

Like 4 is my max but it doesn't happen very often.  I actually wish I could have more sometimes instead of email chains that replace them

The problem at my work is not so many meetings, but long meetings. Like they are scheduled to be an hour but end up lasting 2-3 hours sometimes.

Did you leave your desk/office? Was this also pre-planned or more impromptu?

I sometimes have 2 hour long meetings but they are usually scheduled for 2 hours.  Most of them need 2 hours also.

These are simply ridiculous.  Here's a novel concept:  Doing crap instead of talking about doing crap.
