If you are unhappy, in your mid 30's, and can do something about it without crashing your world, def do it.

You probably missed this when finishing up your third year at Harvard: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3136518/posts

Yeah, I heard about that. What a lucky old bird. What about the eminent domain cases, though?

Google is your friend here. But you're probably right- criminal defense would have made a better argument. I bow to you and your possibly superior pre-LSAT score.

If Ad hominem attacks are what define intelligence, then you're the best, bud.

I don't. It's got to be mostly their fault. "That's not good enough, son. Go and practice your puns until dinner. No Jayhawks football until you do."

Attorneycats can probably help me here. Say an individual in his mid-30s is considering law school, taking a lsat prep course and earned a 153 before learning much about the LSAT. He has an offer for a job that would pay 40k now, with opportunity to escalate fairly quickly. Law school will be about 12k annually without scholarships or aid.
I know many fresh out of school attorneys start in the 40s to 50s range, which could make paying back school debt a long-term deal.
Too late for the career change?

yes, too late.  Pm for details

It's pretty awesome. I have no reception somehow at work, so a much needed bbs break is coming. I work for a corporate dental company as a national doctor recruiter for our practices. I'll travel to schools and talk to upcoming grads and also recruit from our home base. Going to Ohio State next week! :Woot:

Agreed! 8-5 too with weekends off. Unheard of for me.

I think what ever God is doing this, is trying to keep me level headed. Doesn't want me to feel too good about life. :)
