i know you're naturally a piece of crap, but I'm pretty nice IRL. I thanked them for their time, told my manager how much I appreciated him, etc. my bday was Wednesday, but they were gonna present me with my cake today. :frown:

Another thing I do at work to pass the time is "space out".  Most times I try to at least have my hand on my mouse when I space out so it's hard to tell.  But sometimes I'm just staring at the floor or a wall or something.  Try to avoid spacing out towards a person though.  I've been told it comes across as creepy.

Wacky, I know you are golfing and it might be a bit late to ask you this question, but do you have a signed offer?

Attorneycats can probably help me here. Say an individual in his mid-30s is considering law school, taking a lsat prep course and earned a 153 before learning much about the LSAT. He has an offer for a job that would pay 40k now, with opportunity to escalate fairly quickly. Law school will be about 12k annually without scholarships or aid.
I know many fresh out of school attorneys start in the 40s to 50s range, which could make paying back school debt a long-term deal.
Too late for the career change?

I like the idea of being able to help people. The legal system seems to be a way of leveling playing fields for some people who are typically at a disadvantage.

Law school is super easy. I say go for it, but only if you can get that 153 (lol) up near 170

Thanks Spracne .  If helping the less fortunate doesn't work out, I've heard there are lots of eminent domain cases against the elderly in Lawrence.
