I'm assuming you post this after seeing Jon Stewart. That was one Stewart's best segments in a long time. He's only going to help Paul from here out, and that is rough ridin' awesome.

when it comes to diplomacy...Paul should be a Dem. Way too able to self-reflect to be a right wing blowhard.

but on other issues...Paul's delivery needs work imho. If its glitz and sleeze that will lock down the vote...he needs to work on that. He needs a charisma coach...like McCain/Palin had. (true)

That is probably true, but that's what separates him from everyone else. It causes politicians to lie and dumb down their audience with "raw raw we're America were the best!" speeches that don't mean crap.

that was really funny. If Ron would drop his gold standard nonsense, (among a few other things), I think he would do incredibly well. I really, really like him.

yeah, that really gets in the way. makes it hard to take him seriously. that and his age. most 75 year olds i know are pretty inept at a lot of things.

No Ron doesn't need to change anything just to fit the media's definition of a republican. That goes against everything he stands for. They wouldn't air him anyway since he's a huge threat to the establishment.

The media doesn't ignore him because he's not their idea of a Republican, the media ignores him because he has some legitimately crazy ideas.

Love him too. Don't agree with all of his views, but there's not a politician alive that I agree with 100%. At least with him you know what you're going to get, and there's no caving to political pressure.

Uh, lulz. He's ignored because he's not a status quo bull crap regurgitater like every other politician. He says things that make sense and are true, not just "raw raw were American were the best" bull crap speeches. That's what makes him a threat, and is why he's ignored. It doesn't do the media any good air a candidate that encourages critical thinking.

And do you people really give a damn about abortion? I mean eff, we have some bigger fish to fry right now.

whereas Bachmann is 100% crazy except she is good looking, lies with great skill, shovels the B.S. to her base, and does a good job of glossing over the batcrap. But the batcrap has been slowly creeping out..
