Yeah.  My only solace is the thought that we probably won't be as bad at basketball as KU is at football.  Not that I really care about basketball but I can always use the blog ammo.

i just don't understand how you land at an airport that has no control tower while you are talking to an air force base and the air force base is all "yeah, we see you, come on home" and then nope whoops we could have killed everyone by landing at this hayseed farm strip. so weird. i mean. it's 2013.

I watched Flight last Saturday night, the night before flying back home.  Then on the plane, the guy across the aisle from me was watching the Breaking Bad episode where (spoiler alert!) a plane explodes.
