Every time we visit the sis-in-law, have to go to either one of those places. :( They suck.
Had some good sushi in an area near old town(i think), I think it was in a place called the square, or something. It was in a strip mall square with fountain and crap near. Near a movie theater or something.Anyway, it was good.

My older, godfather-esque brother-in-law likes to rent out his own section at the Olive Tree for brunch once a week (this was actually pretty good; plus he looks exactly like Andy Garcia and actually wore a tracksuit to the restaurant, which was outstanding). My wife and her youngest sister used to work at the Hilton and always drag us to the Sunday seafood buffet (crab legs! crepes!). The oldest sister is the one that owns the restaurant, so she hardly ever eats out and insists that we eat at her place (which is phenomenal; she makes homemade baklava that just melts in your mouth).

The sushi is at Hana and it's not in a goddamn strip mall. It's a square with shops and pretty good bars and restaurants in Old Town. In the same square is a wine and tappas bar that I like a lot called Oeno. Cafe Moderne is also in the same square and I love it. OK_Cat talks crap on Wichita because he hasn't been told where the good smelling elites go. When he gasses up the camino and comes to town he hangs out at Fat Tony's and Wichita Wild games with the rest of his mullet wearing, casino loving, MMA watching, toothless Okie hillbilly buddies. Also Fish Market isn't my thing but everyone who has eaten there loves it.The zoo is elite, the 100+ degree temps this weekend is very much non-elite
