I had a 6 am MCI-SLC flight on Monday and fell asleep immediately after takeoff. I woke up from the plane landing after what seemed like a very short time. I looked out the window and thought "hmmm, I remember SLC being a little more mountainous than this."
Pilot came on the PA and said "welcome to Omaha." I then went something like

Apparently there was a loss of cabin pressure and the pilot took the plane down to below 10,000 feet and landed at the nearest airport (

steve dave!), and I missed all of it completely but probably would have pooped in my pants had I been awake.
Anyway, today Delta gave me 15,000 miles for the trouble.
