Why does she want to go and how long will you be there?

I'm sure others can give better direction but I would say eat some chowder (Duke's has gluten free) and do something outdoorsy and explore a neighborhood. They also seem to have decent native American museums and the space needle and museum of pop culture might be fun. It's really just a beautiful place

Just a new place and haven’t been. She likes hiking and stuff and so we may do some of that. Looking at either flying out Thursday evening or Friday morning and coming back on Monday.

Yeah she was in Colorado Springs a month or so ago for hiking and just the beautiful scenery. We’re gonna be in Houston this weekend so it’s gonna be pretty quick back to back trips. I’ve also never been to Seattle and have wanted to go so pretty excited for it.

Walk around queen anne and admire the architecture
Eat at one of the heritage seafood places on the shore (ray's boathouse or wherever)
Eat non-traditional seattle food (iirc i had great ceviche in capitol hill, berliner döner kebab after the underground tour, creole brunch at Toulouse Petit, etc)
Prepare yourself for the dorkiest fashion city OAT. You may find yourself thinking maybe i should buy a $400 arcteryx beanie in lime green??
Stay somewhere downtown and don't rent a car. walk around and get coffee at minimum 2 different places per day. The coffee shops are endless and generally amazing. Seattle has earned its coffee rep (imo)

Take or leave this one. I know Pikes Place is a tourist trap, but there is a dude that is in there with just a smallish grill with a table that like 7 people can sit around. If you can get a spot, get yourself a salmon sandy and some chowder. I've done this every time i've been and have never been disappointed.

there are a few shorter decents hikes just east/southeast of Seattle, Poo Poo Point and Snoqualmie Falls are a few (Snoqualmie is touristy but the falls are pretty).

We had a great trip, guys! Thanks for the recommendations. We did touristy stuff but also went to Mt Rainier and Snoqualmie falls but there was too much fog/mist/whatever to see it. It was also super hazy the whole time we were there. Our AirBnB was also like 2 blocks from the space needle and we had a room and balcony view of it. She was blown away by the nature stuff. Next trip is in a month back to CO.

one thing forgot to mention about France is we drove around quite a bit and I tried to listen to the radio as much as possible. the french hip hop stations are pretty interesting but it became pretty clear that these are their favorite songs in the world:

Staples are obviously Old Absinthe House and Lafitte's. Then I'd say Stanley and Felix's for somewhat well known places. And for ones that are less known I'd say GW Fins, Adolfo's, and Paladar 511. And for a curveball, Coop's Place for fried chicken.

I have no disagreements and now value your opinion more as it's very aligned with my list. Lafitte's is my #1 FQ bar. Felix's always instead of Acme. Never been to Stanley or Adolfo's so I'll check those out. Paladar and GW Fins are great. I'll add in Peche, Antoine's  brunch (get Chuck as your waiter), and Sofia's. So many great food spots. Add in Delachaise and Bacchanal for wine.

I loved Bacchanal and Antoine's! I think Delachaise is the only spot I had as a "must visit next time" on my list, so I'll add the others.
