Just got back from an all inclusive in Cancun and I highly recommend doing a PAK at one. Location doesn't really matter since you never really leave the place, so anywhere works for me!

we love PV, been 8 times.

Pepes Tacos is great, as is Panchos Takos.
Playa Destileradera about 30 min north of town is a great very quiet beach.
Las Animas Beach and Yelapa are also chill vibes.
The Zoo is fun if you are into animals, you can pay $20 to play with and hold young jaguars and tigers.
Get out and explore, lots to see, do and eat/drink
We have day tripped to San Pancho and Sayulita, overrated.
Marisma has great fish tacos.  Visit barrio Versalles, great restaurants over there too.  Birria El Tio Tono is best in PV for birria/quesabirria.

I've been around that many times as well and I've never been outside of the city and still have a great time, just FYI for those looking to go, looks like either way you would be good.

Hey guys, its me, the unluckiest travel booker on the planet. Got a bit drunk tonight and convinced Mrs SF to book a trip to Portugal to go to a concert. It was actually going pretty well considering the amount of booze drinks I've had leading to this probably bad idea. Anywho, got concert tickets, booked a Hyatt hotel both pretty quick. Then, the flights. Why oh rough ridin' why does Chase hate me so? They literally have to have me flagged just to see if I rough ridin' lose it on the phone. Found flights online, easy peasy. booked through Chase to get the extra points or whatever. Same exact price and flights, no problem right???  First booking......denied, error. After however long of putting all the crap in the system for everyone..... error. Refresh again and select the same flights and renter all the crap again....error. Call, spend 3 times as long giving the dude the info for the same flights as i've tried to book twice online, he said no problem a lot.......error. He needs minute to figure it out. Turns out the problem is that they just need $250 more dollars and the error will go away... I don't even want to go anymore so whatever....but.....we have to enter all the info again. This time after giving all the info, he "needed to check something". A bit more of a hold and it finally went through. I honestly have no idea if he even booked the correct flights or if i'm going to the correct country or will make it back home, but he said it worked and I was too worn out to verify. I'll check it in the morning. If it all looks good, please send me Portugal tips. TIA

I'm still fascinated that so many people on this bbs enjoy doing this crap. I'm very thankful for it because it has saved me tons of money and i've gone to cool places, but it just doesn't seem possible to me that people enjoy the booking experience. Go Cats
