Did KSU ever officially announce that the hoops team is playing in the Bahamas next year? I'm pretty sure I saw something, but I can't find any official announcement or dates?

We're not playing at the Battle 4 Atlantis, were playing at the Baha Mar Tournament. There's no date for it yet but this past year it was the weekend before Thanksgiving, before the Battle 4 Atlantis.

fyi. when it comes to bahamas atlantis is like a carnival cruise ship and baha mar is like, nice. not sure on the tournament location quality or teams involved but strictly based on places in the bahamas where I would personally stay baha mar is way better.

They have three different tournaments and we were selected for their top tournament. It's played at Baha Mar, in the convention center. The other teams will be Miami, Providence, and they haven't announced the fourth team yet.

For those of us not going to the Bahamas, luckily, it appears this will be on CBS Sports Network and not on Flo Hoops.

That’s what I’m doing. I looked at some dates around thanksgiving and there aren’t too many rewards rooms available. That’s why I’m looking for the dates. Hopefully they announce before they are all booked up.

Requesting northern Italy pro tips here for mrstdaver and I.  We’re focusing on the Dolomites (hiking) and Emilia-Romagna (food) right now.  Any must dos in those regions?  What about things nearby that we have to add on?  Like Venice, it’s right between those two areas so probably, right?  But also don’t want to get caught up in Italian tourist Disney type stuff.  We’ll get a car for the Dolomites for sure but how’s the transit situation in E-R?  Assuming Bologna as the home base there unless you guys have a better recommendation.

bologna is nice.  trains to most places you'd probably want to go from there, but not to everywhere.  i like venice, even though it can be overwhelmingly disneylandish.  the crowds can be just ridiculous.  however the last time i was there (last spring) it wasn't all that crowded, at least by venice standards.  dunno if that was pandemic related or what.  at any rate, i'd go there.  it's a pretty unique place.

100% go to Venice, esp since it might be underwater at some point.  We stayed here: https://www.hotelnanimocenigo.com/ and couldn't recommend it enough.

+1 on Venice.  I enjoyed it and it is a unique experience, even if touristy.

Thanks emawbros.  We’ll add Venice.

Bonus - Looks like Hyatt as a few nice properties there I can use points on.

Husk is the only place I ate there worth a damn. That Broadway street is very gross and I'm embarassed for them. Don't let anybody tell you this "Gulch" is any better either unless your sole desire is to see a wing mural you can wait 40 minutes to pose in front of.

I only have been there once and had to stay at The Gaylord Opryland, it was fine but don't do that.

I liked Broadway a lot better than I thought I would. The only restaurant I'd recommend, other than the requisite hot chicken places, is a place called Lockeland Table, it's fantastic, not downtown though, so if you're staying down there you'll have to take a rideshare to the restaurant.

I would never ever send our wetdick brother clams to Broadway but if he has to go he should go to Robert's Western World. (Other folks who would want a good Nashville experience should go there, it's really a wonderful oasis in the crap pile of Broadway cover bands and bachelorette parties.)

Add another for Husk.  Took my now wife there for dinner before I proposed to her on the pedestrian bridge.  I also recommend staying in East Nashville.  Hit up Butcher and Bee and Attaboy (amazing cocktails) for sure.
