Was hoping for summer 2021 blowout, but now eyeing couples only (non-RP style) Miami trip winter 2021/Spring 2022.

Any chance the US/Canada border will be open by July?  I was able to defer entry from a canceled event last year to this year and I really really really want to go.

Ate at Guadalajara Grill Fiesta today in Tucson.  Massive patio for outdoor seating and a very pleasant mid 60’s degree day.  Had a Cadillac Marg that was way bigger than I thought it would be.  They make the salsa table side to your liking, and mix it for each table, pretty cool.  Also got Pollo en Mole and a side of guac.  Highly recommend if ever in east Tucson.

I used to go to Arizona all the time and regret never going to Tuscon. It seems nice.

Space is officially open for travel by civilians in Q4 of this year. SpaceX will have the first all civilian flight.

I am excited to travel to space!

Yeah, it could be that. Or it would probably be which one has better flights to wherever I might be headed.  One of those for sure, though.

Headed to the Grand Hyatt in Kauai for a week at the end of June with the wife. Will hit Disneyland for a day on the way out there if they're open to out of state guests by that time. Gonna be weird leaving the kid at home after spending essentially an entire year at home with him 24/7. But I'm ready. This is by far the longest I've ever gone without travel, and it's time for that to end.

Grand Hyatt on Kauai. Probably Aluani on Oahu. All the points hotels on Oahu are on Waikiki which is a shitshow. Tons of options on Maui with both Marriott and Hyatt.

I'm not Steve Dave, but grand Hyatt is the nicest resort on Kauai, and probably the best for kids too. Lazy river, big ass pool slide, giant fake beach, pool basketball, camp Hyatt, Etc. But, Kauai isn't for everybody. Plenty of nature stuff to do, but not a whole lot of metropolitan attractions.

Hawaii has a lot of flavors when it comes to population density and non tropical things to do. Spicy (Oahu), medium (Maui), mild (Kauai), volcano (big).

Kauai sounds like it might be for us. Kids are 8 so we want things for them to do while Mrs. SF and I sit on the beach or by the pool and drink. Good restaurants there as well? TIA
