Denver, lodo and 16th st, food booze and dispensary recs needed

Watch out for the drifters on 16th st mall.  They are getting more aggressive.  The store owners hired a security firm and more cops go there so it may be a little better.  What kind of food/drink do you like?

Illegal Pete's.  It's like Chipotle with a few more options.
Cherry Cricket is south of downtown.  Known for burgers.
Bistro Vendome.  LoDo French place.  Finer diningish for dinner, but brunch is solid on Sundays.
Euclid Hall.  Upscale Sausage/Brats.  Also have weird stuff like bone marrow, etc.
Machete Tacos.  Street tacos of all types.
Linger.  Old mortuary turned good tapas restaurant.  Good drinks/rooftop.

How about a longbone?

You got your standard Capital Grille and Elway's near LoDo somewhere I think.
Vesta Dipping Grill is popular and in LoDo.  Good steak joint with like 20 side sauces that you typically pick 2-3 with each entrée.

Old Major is a good meat place, but if your against hipster 90% of Denver food is out for you.    They have a 3 lb. pork chop and 24 oz ribeye.  Also do good chicken.  http://oldmajordenver.com/dinner/

Ruth bailed about 2 years ago from the plaza...it was not a good place.  No del frisco.

I know.  That's how he could justify going to chain #longbone spots in denver.

Damn.  Sounds like every Manhattan High junior and senior has had your best steak ever before prom.  No #longbone until the after party.
