I had to look it up. If you know that airport name and can place it in the correct city, then I am pretty amazed.

I am looking for a few three-day weekend short get-aways for the next few months. I am in northeast Kansas, and can travel either by car or by flight. Any suggestions?

My go to long weekend is New Orleans.

Savannah is on the list for the future though as I've heard good things

I generally go to Chicago about twice a year or more. Love that city.  Haven't been to Dallas in a few years.  Thanks for the list. Hopefully I get off my butt and on the road some. I used to do that quite a bit. Getting too lazy and relaxed lately.

Not Summerfest but I enjoyed Milwaukee. The miller brewery tour is pretty boring, I'd skip that. No food places stood out that I can remember.

Yeah I've heard the Miller tour is suxville.  I've heard the PBR tour is actually decent.  I think we're gonna try to hit a brewers game while we're up there too.

I just checked.  The Cubs are on roadtrips for all of the Royals @ Sox series.  Would've been a fun time.

We hit a brewers game. There was a regular city bus route you can take out of downtown to the game. Ran fairly often.

OKC is a fun town too, depending on what you are looking for, and also an easy drive.  Omaha is surprisingly good for kids.

That would have been a fun time. I hope I can get there anyway.

Milwaukee is cheap to fly to and I hear it's fun. Ms. Wacky and I are thinking about this sometime soon.

Did Summerfest a few years ago, took the Amtrak up from Chicago (which is a fantastic way to get there) mainly to see a Kanye one-off show after MBDTF. It was fine. Had some delicious fancy pretzels from some vendor. Saw a bunch of drunk Wisconsinites.

Didn't do the full tour (eavesdropped on a bit of it), but just stopping by the Pabst Best Place is worth it. Neat building, and an awesome gift shop were I picked up this beauty.

The Milwaukee Art Museum is world class, and I can't recommend a visit strongly enough.

This is a serious question as someone who has spent a lot of time in OKC.  What do you do in OKC you consider fun for a weekend?
