Wow, sleepfighter! That looks amazing. I have you fought sleep out there, because that looks like I'd wanna be awake 24/7 to see that amazing landscape.

Most of the time we stayed in semi-permanent tent camps. The tents had concrete foundations, full beds, and a bathroom area with a chemical toilet and a bucket shower, so it wasn't exactly roughing it. But still, we could hear zebras, wildebeest, and even an elephant eating within a hundred feet of us.

At three of the locations, every night there would be armed guards patrolling the campsite with either Masai spears or with bows and poisoned arrows! We would hear lions or hyenas occasionally, but they weren't all that close. Still, at those camps they were all like, "Hey, don't leave your tent at night without calling for us."  :ohno:

I'm just going to go ahead and post more photos that I like as I get them ready, until somebody tells me to stop.

So here's an ultra-rare black rhino:

You'll be happy to hear that the zebra died of natural causes.

Well, well, well, looks like we have our very own John James Audubon in the house.  Q:  What kind of bird is that leggy piece with the fierce eye shadow?
