You're a man now. It's time you had your own coffee pot at your desk.

Every job I've ever had, has had free coffee. I'm talking about some elite crap too. This whole coffee ordeal just shows how backwards I've went with my "career". :bawl:

Probably a @stevedave question but I'm looking for a new carry on. Previously travel pro was suggested but just looking to confirm or for another direction. Been using my current Eddie Bauer one since 2002 and it's been through all sorts of crap. A Zipper is finally ripping through on the bottom now that the bump stops are worn down and streets rubbed it down.

I like two wheels for durability and since I don't care about rolling it upright. Usually hold lady BRs duffel on top and use as foot rest at airports sometimes so it needs to be tough. Have read some good things about Briggs and Riley and others give bad reviews and those are more than I want to spend. If I could find the same one all over again I would in a heartbeat so this is kinda stressing me out.

I also prefer two wheels on my checked bag. I don't personally like B&R. I like travel pro crew series for the value. Have two crew 7 rollaboard suiters and a large crew 10 checked 4 wheeler. Amazon has the crew series for really cheap.

If you want anything better/more expensive the only other brands I'd look at would be tumi and rimowa. Someday I'll have a full set of rimowa topas bags.

clams gf has a set of the salsa airs.  bag and baggage does a one year sale where you can trade in your old stuff for credit, it's a good deal.  anyway, they're nice but i'm not sure they're worth the money from a quality perspective.  she hasn't had any problems, but they just don't seem as durable as i would have thought they would be.

I have a Tumi carryon and I can't imagine stepping foot on a plane without it. I also really like my Osprey bags if I'm checking anything.

Mrs. WonderMeal is looking to go to Colorado (her first time!) for a quick trip w/out the Li'l Meals in late April. She'd like to do the following things:

-Stay in an elite hotel 1-2 nights
-Stay in an elite B&B/lodge thing for one night
-Hike

It's going to be a three day trip max, so any tips (or pro-tips) on hotels, B&Bs/lodges, and hikes in or around Denver would be much appreciated.

Also, paging @steve dave: is there a way I can use some of my leftover Lufty miles for a United flight without calling someone up on the phone (gross)? I'm looking to get rid of them. Can I just transfer them to United or do I have to book through Lufty?

my advice:

Mt. Evans and Summit Lake for a hike, respectable views and travel time.
Did not stay as I was using up some points, but the Brown Palace is supposed to be a very cool hotel.

you will have to call

Go to United.com and enter your travel information.

Don’t forget to check the button for “Award Travel“

Write Down the Flight Information

You are searching for “Saver” or low-level awards in the cabin

They will show up as a blue button under the left column for economy, center (or right if there is no First Class) for Business Class, and the right column for First Class.

Write down the flight information for the flight.  Call the Lufthansa (NOT United) service center and ask them to book that award for you.

OK, the family has requested Harry Potter World or whatever in Orlando. I thought about changing it up and shooting for London instead. I've heard great things about the Orlando one, anyone been to the London one?
