What routes are they using it on?

if they've announced it I haven't heard. they are getting like 40 of them with options on like 60 more.

I think they said that one was going to be based in DFW though. Or at least that is where they delivered it to I think.

I flew into Melbourne, FL last week. they have a super townie airport and only one snack bar/bar place that only operates at certain times depending on when a flight is scheduled. I got there really early because I had nowhere to be/go before my flight and the bar lady gave me three beers because she was leaving for like an hour.

I don't think United has painted any of their 747's since the merger.

They are starting to stream entertainment on personal devices, though, which is much better than their one feed for the entire plane entertainment they had previously

I really don't like United. I seem to have bad luck with them.

There's basically no difference between them and the other legacy carriers other than hubs

a coworker and I flew the same flight on United recently and we're both silver with them by way of being Marriott plats. we checked in at the same time. they upgraded me to first class and left him in coach.

pretty much my only positive united experience to date. it was an old continental 737 so the first class wasn't amazing anyway.

i was on a new Delta boeing 757 yesterday and it had personal screens on the back of each seat. great movie selections (i watched Her, Glengarry Glen Ross, and This is Where I Leave You). it's the first time i've been on one with personal entertainment devices and i've flown that specific route a few times in the last six months. was pretty great, made the 5.5 hour flight much easier.

Yeah that's a good one. Sometimes they have decent music at night there, too.

Sounds identical to the Saginaw Michigan airport. 4 gates. I flew to Detroit from there, 14 minutes in the air. :D
