http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Delta_Airlines/Delta_Airlines_Boeing_757-300_75Y.php

tell me which seat to choose.

my choices:
21A, nobody is currently in the middle seat
27C, nobody is currently in the middle seat, more leg room but i don't think i like the seats that have the tray tables in the armrest. less room.
29F, nobody is currently in the middle seat, tons of leg room, but same as 27C with the arm rests, i also usually prefer being on the aisle.
41D, nobody is currently in the middle seat, lots of leg room but close to the bathroom, also the same issue with the arm rests.
45A, standard window seat with nobody in the middle seat

i mean, none of my choices are first class or even economy comfort so no, definitely not a fanning brag.

I've mentioned this over a million times but I flew lufty biz class FRA-DEN in row two of the bottom level. the concav'ity (convex'ity?) of the nose made it so my seat had a view straight ahead if I put my head near the window. my seat was also ahead of the pilots seat upstairs. pretty amaze.

I hope I get to the point where I have so many miles/points that I want to use them for business class to Europe, but I'm just not there yet. It's over twice as many!

If you credit card thread correctly you would never even consider not flying 1st/biz. The only reason we were stuck in biz was because lufty are rough ridin' prudes with 1st partner awards.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Once you get passed the initial figuring it out stage it's super easy. Put some effort in for a day and then just follow this thread and one or two other blogs and you'll kick yourself in the balls for not doing it for your entire life.

My weakness in the whole process is keeping up with the canceling the cards I'm not using before the fees.

Well, you can also wait until they charge the fee and then cancel. They will remove it if you cancel in that billing period.

This is my typical method but then some say transfer the credit line to another card, etc. etc....it's just where I seem to fall apart on the mileage game.

I will cancel cards for everyone in the cc thread if you are all comfortable giving me your info and allowing me to have free reign on retention negotiations.

Only if you take over retention negotiations in every phase of my life.

Friday afternoon flight to from KC to DFW with all the road warrior consultants going home... Could have done without that. I heard enough back slapping anecdote in Texas drawl to last me a year.
