Eat at Redd. Get a burger at the St. Helena Gotts.

Had already planned on a fun pic at that place, but we might as well eat there too!

I wasn't impressed.  It's eatable though.

I am expecting Napa Whataburger so maybe we have different expectations going in?

I mean I never go to napa but gotts is a chain if that matters. But what Mrs. KK doesn't know won't hurt her I guess.

Yeah, that's why I specified the st. Helena location crap for brains.

I am going to vegas in January.

i really hate that place but like rusty said, the weather will be warmer than where you live and there are a lot of great restaurants in vegas.

How can one hate Vegas?

I would hate to live in Vegas or to spend more than 4 nights there. I love it for what it is though.

My thoughts on Guatemala so far.  Beautiful but a little smelly, the coast is hot as crap, and the traffic is crazy.  My brother in law thinks he has to make the tires sqweal around every curve.    :blindfold:

When I get back home I will post the pics.  We hiked up a volcano today and roasted marshmallows in a hot spot.  Lava rocks tore my shoes up pretty bad.  We ate lunch in San Lucas and they stole the battery out of my sister's car lol.   My sister started giving everyone the stink eye and I thought we were going to die.

My sister lives here.  Thought I would come see how they are doing.  Her husband has a chicken, talapia, and shrimp farm.  She works for peace corp.

Basically they dug huge ponds near the ocean and stock them with tiny shrimp.  They feed them out like cows then sell them off.  He said when they are ready to sell they will have 15 tons of shrimp.   :surprised:  They also have 35,000 chickens for butchering.

Omg San Lucas toliman? That's where I've been and Mrs mocat goes there every year with her school. Isn't lake atitlan crazy? Apparently in their revolution they dumped like thousands of bodies in there. Crazy

It's a good city. You'll find plenty of good beer and food.
