also, this-http://www.engadget.com/2014/05/04/etihad-a380-residence/

damn, $43k for a 7 hour flight?

you can book these with 2,365,199 Etihad miles. which is the same as 43 Etihad first class seats according to stupid gary leff

edit: not stupid because he did the math on this, just stupid in general re. other things
One Gary thing I really want to try are the Andaz 5th Ave pancakes. Other than that, agreed.

Don't know if there's a separate luggage thread or not, but any recommendations for a canvas/leather duffle bag, mostly for personal use, preferably that will fit in the overheads, and most importantly looks like the carrier thereof is possibly a world adventurer and/or eminent archaeologist?

How long have you been here? I've never seen Bread ask for directions

Jeez, mocat, when did this beef start? oh yeah...

Man you are so good at this game

with a 10 hour international layover you won't have a lot of time with all the garbage you will have to do on each end of exiting and returning. pick one thing and take your time then get something to eat.

Haven't pulled the trigger yet, but thanks chum.  I really do feel like this bag purchase is just the beginning of a whole new chapter in my life.  Glad I could share it with everyone.  Will be sure to post pics of how all my rolled up shirts look when packed inside.

fyi, you will hate that you never use it. it's going to be a pain in the ass in the airport. it's sold for hotness and not for usefulness.

That's not possible.  I've been assured that this is the perfect companion for those who find themselves in the outdoors, travel, and business. And going between the three.

iPad - either one of the two end compartments inside (with leather trim) or the zipper center compartment

Phone Charger - obviously one of the leather outside pockets

Twizzlers - would not eat that crap, so let's pretend it's fresh buffalo or deer jerky: probably one of the two end compartments inside (with leather @Trim)
