Bills huh.  Don't be ashamed, I've stayed there before.  Osheas is an amazing time late, early, in between.  Don't go to a strip club.  Don't drive or rent a car.  Don't rent a limo.  Don't ask the cab driver if he's a "muuuuslim" like Pete tends to.

play paigow if you aren't a gambler.  the dealer will tell you what to do when you show them your cards and you will never lose or win a lot.  dress nicer than you think you need to (not that you will need to but it makes you feel like a big crap).  if you find out where you are staying I can give you exact advice on do/don't do's.

This. It's hard to get the waitresses to bring you free drinks when you look like trash.

To reduce stress when I was in Vegas, I set aside some money that I planned on losing in the casinos. That way I could relax and just have fun instead of worrying about how much money I was losing. Obviously, we're all K-State fans, and therefore have thousands to spare, but if you don't like throwing unknown amounts of money away this is a great solution.

yeah, pretty central.  also, I think they somehow affiliate with Hilton (or at least used to) so you may be able to get Hilton Honors for staying there.  they are supposed to have a pretty legit pool for being a shithole.  plus, you are right next door to OSheas so tell the leprechaun hi from steve dave.

Anyone ever been to Dominican Repub?  Wife looking into this rather than Hawaii now for a trip next year.  Have heard that it is silly cheap compared to Hawaii so that we could either stay much longer or in much higher rated place.

Also, shorter flight.

Anyone been.  Little bit of googling makes it look pretty fantastic.

i want to invent a method of traveling which allows you to instantly be somewhere else.  it would be a tube you get into.  push a button and then you're instantly at the place you wanted to go to.   this concept, if realized, would change the travel industry forever.  i plan on naming the concept, the wildcat transporation system incorporated.

EDIT- forgot to add- if anyone can provide assistance with this concept, pls pm.  thx.

Sign up for the current chase sapphire card (50k transferable to continental) the continental mastercard and the united visa.  you will then have over 100k united/continental miles which will get you there.  If you have time and don't want to sign up for all at once you should sign up for the sapphire card now as it has the best bonus followed by the continental card because it will not be available long and finally the united card because it will be available forever and doesn't have a current big bonus.  if you just want to pay for the flight you should set up an airfare alert via airfare watchdog to notify you if the flight cost dips below a figure you set.

Set up the alert so that it makes a sound on your Homedics® SoundSpa Sound Machine.

Went to san Diego in march a year ago. Stayed in la jolla five nights and SD for one. Weather should be about the same. It's nice. Not hot. Warm in day cool at night. Google it. La jolla is really nice, but if you are going with other people and want to be close to food, fun, etc. Then you should stay in gaslamp. Think kc plaza, but in san Diego and by the ocean. La jolla is north of SD and by ocean and nice but you're not walking anywhere or seeing what you prob want to see.

I'm doing football roadies this year for laramie (for undergrad alma mater) and lubbock. What bars/restaurants in Laramie don't suck? Does anyone know what gameday is like, where good places to tailgate, and do they take the scalps of opposing fans there? i'm more familiar with lubbock but i'll still take any tips you have.

in return i can give mediocre to good recommendations for any of the following places:

austin metro area (specialty)
san antonio
west yellowstone, mt
jackson, wy
anywhere in glacier park, mt
stillwater (probs would be better if you asked OK_Cat tho)

This thread = incredible subtle marketing campaign by SD/Rick Daris to market their new line of travel related products?
