One time at WoF I rode the one spinning ride that is like inside that little house/building and my wallet flew out of my pants into the seat but I didn't know it and then I realized it like 10 min later and I went back and somebody had turned in my wallet but the 50 bucks that was inside my wallet was gone.

Yeah I'm a pretty seasoned Ride Warrior, so if anyone has any questions just let me know.

Side Note: Oceans of Fun, like most/all water parks, is a cesspool.

I almost flew off one of there slides one time and died.

That's because you're so rough ridin' greasy, per filly.

To my credit I was coming down from a 3 day bender, I have no control of my greasiness after paking that hard!

kc zoo is great.  people that complain about the walk are fat and lazy.

well i'm neither, so riddle that one for me, guy who has probably never been outside of kansas city or to another zoo in his entire life.

you still didn't riddle my riddle, walky mcwalksalot. also, the kc zoo would easily be the worst out of the five that you've apparently been to, so calling it "great" is more than misleading. i'd call it flat out lying personally. this is the internet though and full of faceless names and such so i kind of expect it.

Loads of great memories of Worlds of Fun.  I will probably go more over the next year as well....haven't been in about 10 years.

The season pass thing is per person, right?

Would be nice to be able to go over there for some later evenings, when the place is clearing out.

I have a KC Zoo pass and it gets me into Omaha for like $6.  Gonna go this year(say this every year but haven't been yet).

rumblings the kc zoo is sad and makes people feel bad for the animals and junk.  confirm?

I never do, but maybe that is more of an indictment of me?   :dunno:

In the 2 years I lived in Omaha I went to the zoo 3 or 4 times (no kids), it's a great zoo, plus baby gorillas

Pro tip: If you get the season pass unlimited imax movies are included (imax with orphan baby elephants and gorillas   the baby part not the orphan part)

Pro tip #2: get imax tickets early it usually sells out

there was a this american life that featured worlds of fun not too long ago.  liked hearing a local treasure being presented to the world.

With rides like The Thunderhawk and The Patriot, WOF is about as American as the 4th of July

go to worlds of fun at night, many shitty kids are not there and camp snoopy erupts into a wonderland of visual excitement.  I think it's camp snoopy that has the neat lighting.  Check with staff about camp snoopy being wonderlandish at night prior to visit.

SPOILER:
Omaha zoo's large glass dome is just a desert with minimal animals and various desert plant things.  NOT EPCOT SPACESHIP EARTH.
ALSO:
Epcot spaceship earth is NOT EPCOT SPACESHIP EARTH, if EPCOT SPACESHIP EARTH meant a place for fun rides and spaceships and aliens.
So I never finished better than 4th at the Grand Prix Raceway, and I always considered myself a pretty good driver...
I always seemed to get the "slow car."    :flush:

How did you guys do?

also, oceans of fun? that place seems like it would be pretty horrible with a couple of little kids. you can add it to the wof pass for like another ten bucks a person or so but i'm guessing i don't want to. seems gross. thoughts?

yeah, seems gross.  do not do.

can confirm grossness of oof. did not take my own advice here and should have. wwf is a little better than i expected and oof is maybe a little grosser. i've been to both recently so hit me up w/ any off or wof questions. i'm now the board expert.

Last time I went to WoF they let a mentally challenged person cut in line in front of me (Mamba). The line guy said it was their policy to do that. Then they asked her if she wanted to ride again, and of course she did. You guessed it, park policy. I gave up trying to ride the Mamba.
Where did you get that overnight bag?
