I know some of you guys are really young, but if you break it down to the Snyder era, there is one qb that stands below the rest:
Jason Smargiasso - 1992
Not even close to any on your list.
I've never heard of him, so I'm not going to add K-State's starter from way back when I was in the 1st grade.
Just because you were still pissing you pants while playing four square when some of us were in college partying are asses off as the only fans in the stadium while watching the worst qb in Snyder history doesn't mean he doesn't belong on the list. Trust me he was worse than AE....by far. He couldn't complete a swing pass let alone get it down the field.
Smargassioso Comp %: 48.3
AE Comp %: 47.9
AE also rushed for 2.0 ypc and had -19 yards receiving in his one year starting.
They were both flat out awful. At least AE was only a Frosh, while Smarg was a Senior. But at least AE beat KU.
I’m with you on the Smargiesso hate, Wooderson.
Dude was dreadful. If I remember correctly, he had like one good game against New Mexico State in the non-con and then sucked tremendous balls and ass the rest of the year. That was also the year that we lost to OU on a disputed field goal to end the game in Norman and played Nebraska in the Tokyo.
Weird season. Horrible quarterback.
