Quote from: jtksu on April 04, 2011, 04:53:08 PMGreat, now the PTI guys are talking about Calipari's possible return to the NBA. Wonderful, let's just muddy the cac out of the water. If he does go that likely means Kentucky will be on probation next year, and per usual, Cal beats the boys from Indy out of town by a hair.

The Miami job sucks any of those guys on those lists would be good hires for Miami. DePaul is a better job. Frank Martin is the only proven top tier coach that they would have a shot at even considering, and obviously that consideration has nothing to do with basketball. Basketball wise Miami has no positive advantage over any other BCS school, none. It's an absolute basketball wasteland.Same reason why people dismissing Frank Haith because of his record are equally dumb.

Just for the record, who here is a giant dumbass and believes that Frank would not be able to recruit better at Miami. Show of hands please...would like to know who to mock openly to their faces.

There's no way it isn't a hell of a lot easier to convince an 18 year-old kid to go to Coral Gables than to Manhattan, KS. He'll be able to keep kids that he now loses simply due to location and also be able to attract local players that aren't available here.
