Baylor will match. He stays at Baylor.

Baylor can't possibly match, but I don't think they have to. I'd say, here's how much we can increase per year, how much goes to you, how much to staff, how much to nil?

If he stays, he'll have a shot at another title or at least making another final four in the next 5 years, they're renaming buildings and streets after him, he gets a statue and the Drew name is cemented in history. If he goes, he has some cash and could possibly destroy his legacy.

Baylor can match because Drew is worth a whole lot more to them than he is worth to Kentucky.

I just read that Cal got a 5yr deal that is for less than his $8.5m he was making but has incentives that would exceed it easily.

Also, supposedly, he secured $5m NIL per yr as part of the agreement.

IDK, Baylor, as a religious school, has some recruiting advantages over public schools.  I've heard that Baylor will fund churches or church wings named after the mother of a given recruit.

Sure, but I think he could toss down UK's contract offer and Baylor would call up Chip Gaines and they'd match.  I don't think there's a reason for him to play hardball.
