You rig it up so you can move the arms from a safe distance and then you lower it into a big burning dumpster, making it wave its arms frantically as it burns. Also get the whole thing on film. That's what you do with it.

I do think oscar is probably better but there is an argument to be made.  oscar has had more teams that can compete for titles/top seeds and I'm not sure the Dixon can do that.

I do think oscar is probably better but there is an argument to be made.  oscar has had more teams that can compete for titles/top seeds and I'm not sure the Dixon can do that.

A lay observer could even note that this year kind of represents Oscars only 'built it myself' achievement. Dixon made TCU competitive after having done some good stuff at Pitt.

I did misspeak when I said this year, I meant class, and you got me on the SIU stuff. But stacked up against Dixon I think my comment still has merit. Last year was the first time Weber advanced to the S16 since coaching Billy's recruits at Illinois. While Dixon inherited a great team from Howland, 4 years later he had his 'own' players in the Elite 8. And then took a pretty bad TCU team and made the tourney and won the NIT. Also boner would probably be a name upgrade, but not because of what/how you said [it].

LOL, what's the opposite of a blue blood? Blue bloods don't hire someone who has proven he isn't a championship coach. They just hired the, at best, 6th best coach in the Big 12 conference.

Supposedly he has an 8 million dollar buyout at TCU and is trying to negotiate it down to 1 million.   I think at this point their status has been revoked.

You hear about this type of thing, but it has never made sense to me.  I mean, "Gee, we agreed on this giant buyout so I wouldn't screw you over...BUT I decided to screw you over anyway and figure you were just kinda messing around.  Can you cut me some slack?"

I mean...how do coaches succeed in "negotiating" buyouts down like this?  It seems like they should have zero leverage for any kind of negotiation, but I must be missing something.

dig up as much dirt as you can on the AD while you're there and if they have some skeletons threaten to go nuclear unless they negotiate that buyout down.

It's mostly his team but Alex Robinson, JD Miller, and Jalen Fisher were not recruited by Dixon.

I assume leaking the buyout talk was an attempt for Dixon to push TCU to the table with "He doesn't really want to be here."  Kudos to TCU to know their place and go "Nobody does, see you on Monday"
