Rumors are Mark Adams has lost the team and is on the outs with top donors, including the big daddy with the unlikely name of Dusty Womble, with the two reported not on speaking terms.
Add to this the widespread gossip that Adams had an affair with the wife of his dead twin brother, which apparently started before the brother died.

Almaq is definitely transferring and is eligible to play immediately. His foot cast came off this week and it's said he'll be ready to hit the court in mid-January.
Meanwhile, Tech fans are saying "that's us" in response to a Fran tweet saying he's hearing some talented teams are starting to crack because of non-payment of NILs and jealousy among NIL have and have-not players.

Correction It appears they've kissed and paid up in Lubbock, at least in regard to Almaq, who is staying. Be interesting to see if all the rumored team issues are resolved.

He didn't try to fight Turgeon, they got into an argument. Didn't know about those other two things but they don't show a proclivity for slapping assistant coaches.

He had to be restrained when argue with Turgeon and yelled "I'll rough ridin' kill you."  That's not an argument.  That's an unstable person with a pattern of anger control problems who I suspect will do this again.
