Not sure I can accepted anything else now that I've tasted a 1 seed.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I've heard Jerry Palm say the winner of the Big 12 is getting a #1 seed, we're leading the Big 12 so I don't know if it's much more to it than that.

I suppose so.
Kenpom is projecting a 4 way tie for 1st at 11-7, lol. That would be bananas

Would the Big 12 really dish out 4 trophies in that scenario?

All four 1 seeds would be from the b12 according to Jerry Palm

Yeah, pretty safe bet that K-State isn't finishing 5-6. His algo's got K-State, OU, OSU, West Virginia all finishing the conference season 5-6

Almost all b12 games will be close and could go either way

TO rate is what probably scares me most.  Hopefully we can clean that up. If we don’t I could see us losing quite a few down the stretch.

It and oboarding I think are our worst traits. Both fixable but yeah will cause us to lose some games.

Also, and the TCU game proved this, the game goes well when Nowell and Johnson have good games. Poor games from them and we can't challenge. Hopefully more Tomlin/Sills/Ish can help provide valuable buckets if they have off games

Right, and like every other year when the Big 12, or any other conference is good, the best teams win most of those "go either way" games, not lose half of them..

BUT EVEN IF we did go 5-6 the rest of the way and wind a share of the Big 12 regular season, that would be one hell of a great first season for Tang.

Yes you couldn’t draw it up better than that.  T-Mobile Center for the S16 game would be pandemonium.

If we win 2 more games and don’t get the 3 seed in the Midwest bracket we literally burn down the NCAA HQ

:bracketmouse:

Crazy that if you have Des Moines as a 1 seed you gotta go to Vegas, but a 3 seed gets KC. Not complaining just odd, especially since the West 2 seed is in Sacramento

Agreed, but I think we need 3 wins, (BAY, OU, and 1 road or Big 12 tourny win) to feel secure about it

Give Tang the chance at T-Mobile for a berth to the Final 4 you monsters!

You have as many final 4’s in my lifetime as I have fingers, just let us have this one.

Could be better to be the 5th/6th overall than 3rd/4th.

I suggest losing a few games real quick.

We have absolutely no business being a 3 seed
