I hope we don't have to play in one of the stupid play-in games. Those things shouldn't even exist.

Agree, but we are going to see more in the future.

Hey, I'll take a play-in game, but right now I care more about getting that Big 12 trophy.

So I made a bet with my roommate k-state wouldn't make the tourney. He wins, I buy him a pint of Jack Daniels. If I win, a pint of Sailor Jerry's.

If K-State plays in one of two, "play-in," games do I lose or win the bet?

How many teams does the selection committee select?

Idk if the committee takes much stock in one conference tourney win especially when it's against a team that is struggling.  Like, it's just one game.

Pretty big tell that you don't watch the first four, they are normally very good basketball games. Also what weirdo complains about more tournament basketball games? Weird.

Why do we care about Indiana, Houston, and TCU? Who's bubble were those teams on?

Tcu winning today and they are 1 game away from getting a bid.  The other 2 probably needed to win their tourney, but having them out and not making finals is a good thing.

I originally posted 10 teams 6 spots.  No other team has gotten hot and gotten into the Mix. Hopefully Middle  Tenn will win their conference, and not become a team that could be in a play-in game

I don't think you are correct about TCU. They were only on 1 of the 114 brackets that bracket matrix uses, and that was before they lost by 17 million tonight.

If you people want to bracket watch, look out for the Mountain West final. If Colorado State wins, that adds  Nevada to the bubble. We have a better kenpom but they have a better rpi. They have no top 50 wins but they have a significantly better non con SOS. They are the exact type of team the committee has a history of favoring over a P5 school with a bunch of losses and a sub par non con.

We're actually in more brackets today than we were yesterday.

I feel safe about watching Tuesday or Wednesday night NCAA basketball involving the Cats.

Weren't we on 104 brackets yesterday? Either way our position hasn't changed.

bracketmatrix.com bumped us back in with their latest update over Syracuse. The Cats are now in 89 of 114 brackets that they track. Rhode Island is in 53, Syracuse is in 50, and Illinois State in 38.

Man, I hope you are right about us being in.  My stomach is not calm thinking about it.  I guess that's my body's way of telling me I still care a lot about the team and the season.

There could be changes between now and tomorrow, but there aren't a ton of games. I feel good about us being in.

Both Lunardi and Palm have us playing Wake Forest in a play-in game.
