Why do you people analyze these fake brackets? Honest question.

Because it's fun.

what makes it fun? You know the actual matchups won't be close to any of these, don't you?

The real question is why the hell do you care if people enjoy it? Seems pretty weird that you are concerned at all with people enjoying tournament projections and bracket seeding prognostications.

I think learning why humans do what they do is very interesting.

Yeah, maybe, except that's not what you are trying to accomplish here.

I've already broken down all 7/8/9/10 teams on film.  We will beat all of them

How do we match with Memphis?

They're small as well, with good, physical guards.

Exactly.  Very undisciplined team.  Probably loses a lot of close games because of it.  oscar will X and O his face off.

Guys, I am going to go out on a limb and say KState is the last 8 seed (#32 on the overall ranking).   I could see us being anywhere from 32 to 36....but will be very surprised if we are a 10 seed.

If we get that 8, I think we will likely play a Pac 10 team.   If we get a 9 seed then I would guess we get Memphis or UMass.  I think our chances of being in St Louis are pretty good.     Anyway.... here is what I got

1 seeds =  1. Florida  2. Arizona  3. Wich St  4. Michigan
2 seeds =  5. Nova   6. Wisconsin  7. Virginia   8.  KU
3 seeds =  9. Iowa St  10.  Duke  11. Lville  12. Syracuse
4 seeds =  13. Crieghton  14. Mich St 15. Cincy  16.  SD St

5 seeds =  17. Ucla  18. N Carolina  19. UConn  20. OU
6 seeds =  21. VCU  22. N Mexico  23. Ohio St   24. SLU
7 seeds =  25. Kentucky  26. Baylor  27.  Texas  28. Oregon
8 seeds =  29. UMass  30.  G Wash  31. Memphis  32.  KState

9 seeds = 33. Gonz  34. Ok St  35. Stanford   36.  Colorado
10 seeds = 37. Iowa 38. St Joe  39. Pitt  40. Ariz St
11 seeds = 41. Nebraska 42. Tenn  43 Prov
Last 4 teams in =  SMU, Xavier, Dayton, BYU

Michigan State looks legit. Shocking.  Sucks for the region that gets them as their 3

Finally healthy and playing their best ball of the year. Will probably make another run at the F4.

K-State is somewhat likely to matchup with WSU in the second round.

Why?

Wichita is 90% going to St. Louis as the one there to keep them as close to home as possible.  KSU is a potential 8/9 seed.  With St Louis holding an 8/9 game because Wichita is playing there, KSU would be a decent fit to be close to home.  Memphis playing us there in the first round would keep them fairly close as well.  NCAA sells out of tix quickly

Why is Louisville being seeded as a 3 in every mock bracket I've seen? Only 5 losses, all to ranked teams if I remember correctly, and they just won the American League tournament with ease.

I guess this question is directed at Powercat Posse.

Dangerous team.   They are playing Mich so late today that I think they already have MSU's seed already set.  IF they would have played and beat Mich yday.... I think they would have been a 3 seed.   They still could be a 3.

Louisville also a team that is clicking on all cylinders right now.  Dangerous 3 or 4 seed there too.

I think Wisky gets 3, LVille 2.  Maybe KU gets a 3 but even with all their losses, tough to have the best team from the best RPI conference lower than a 2.

Probably depends on how much they take Embiid's absence into account.
