Why do you people analyze these fake brackets? Honest question.

Because it's fun.

what makes it fun? You know the actual matchups won't be close to any of these, don't you?

I bet you they're close. I can't get my mind off of Selection Sunday, so it's helping me to pass the time.

Are the Final 4 region matchups always the same or we have to wait to see which they match?

They might be close in terms of seeding but not matchups.

People have a fascination with projections in many aspects of life. As fans, we have chosen to apply that to March Maddness brackets. Basically a long way of saying people have fun in trying to predict the future.

I bet you we've seen a bracket in the past couple of days that has had our correct opponent on it. I day dream about old games all the time. What's wrong with daydreaming (with the aid of fake brackets) about potential future games?

I've already broken down all 7/8/9/10 teams on film.  We will beat all of them

Opponents isn't completely absurd - They are loosely based on geography which can determine a lot.  K-State is somewhat likely to matchup with WSU in the second round. KU is somewhat likely to see St. Louis in the second round (in St. Louis).  If you can't daydream about those 2 games, that's on you.

It's pretty random for 5-12 seeds

It's going to be a fairly winnable game followed by a very difficult game. Break it down, fanman!

no, this is fun. Here's my matchup breakdown. The seven seed we're playing doesn't seem much better than us, I think we can win! I mean they played in a weaker conference, lmao. but that game against the two seed, man, do not want. they're really good and will provably have lots of fans since it's close to their place. Madness!

Virginia isn't one of the five best teams, but they're one of the top five I don't want to see next weekend! #analysis

Lunardi gets inside info on today. He just switched Memphis to an 8 vs. K-State in St. Louis. Think there's a good chance KSU in St. Louis

Why do you people analyze these fake brackets? Honest question.

Because it's fun.

what makes it fun? You know the actual matchups won't be close to any of these, don't you?

The real question is why the hell do you care if people enjoy it? Seems pretty weird that you are concerned at all with people enjoying tournament projections and bracket seeding prognostications.

I think learning why humans do what they do is very interesting.
