eh i guess. would probably make it to the s16 and get killed by 'cuse. not sure it warrants 8 bracket mouses. If WSU was our 1 then maybe i could see it?

Have you watched Syracuse this year?  Yeah, they're good, but not a team I'm terrified of playing.

Whatever bracket allows our team to make the S16 should be bracket moused like crazy

I love you Winters, but Orlando sounds like the biggest tease in this world.

Me: "Oh, man. Ok you guys! We're in Florida, let's hit up a beach."
Winters: "What are you talking about Fanning? Orlando isn't by the water. There's other stuff tho."
Me: "Wtf? I'm in a major Florida city and there's no beach? I'm out!"

Like an hour drive from the beach though. If I remember correctly? Correct me if I'm wrong, Winters. Atlantic side if course.

Go 2-2 on the road and win our 3 home games...... and we are at worst a 6 seed.  Can't stress how important of a factor the Big 12 being the #1 conf is.  Every year the committee is very fond of teams that are in a great conf, have a good record in that conf, and have several wins vs the other good teams in that conf. 12-6 with 5 maybe even 6 wins vs top 50 teams in the Big12.   And our current SOS is a very solid 21

Do the above and its very unlikely we are the 4/5 in the Big 12 tourney.  Our win over Ku will get us to the 3 seed (maybe 2).

At this point, I cant see us going 10-8, so I think 11-7 would be our worst record.   And with that, I don't think we would be on the 8/9 seed game  come March.  5 seed will be our ceiling with a 6 or 7 seed being the more likely outcome

I agree, this seems to be where things are headed.

Mock selection committee picks #KState as a 6-seed in the NCAA tournament. Highest I've seen this season. What KSU has done is remarkable.

I emailed the guy:

Thank you for your email.  I would suggest you look at the BPI and the RPI (two measures the selection committee like to use), which provides some interesting insights into the teams you list.  We also weight road wins very positively, and bad home losses very negatively.  As such, OSU and OU are currently trending downward.  In addition, these numbers are fluid, so they will continue to evolve until Selection Sunday

Thank you again for your interest.
