As of now, IMO here are the last 10 teams in that are not in Dayton...

#33-37 - Creighton, ASU, Butler, FSU, OU
#38-42-  Kstate, St Bony, USC, Bama, St Mary's

Beat Baylor and I'd be shocked if we fell to #41-#42 much less a Dayton game

I'm thinking if we beat Baylor, we're likely to move up to a 10.

I think we are close where we view Ksu at this moment.
A win and we are a 10 (I actually have us as a 10 right now). There is even a chance we could sneak to #36 (last 9 seed)...but with the KC game.... would probably have us as a 9 (win over Tcu) or a 10 (loss to Tcu).

Ok St definitely in the conversation now, but the weak OOC is hurting them. Just a quick look at Texas Baylor OSU. All 3 are 8-10 with 13 total losses

Q1/Q2 records-

Ya. If you compare the good wins, no doubt Osu has edge.

They both beat Ku/Tech at home
Both have a Q1 neutral win (Creighton/FSU)
Osu won at Ku/WV
Baylor won at Ok St

Plus Osu has 4-3 edge on Q2 wins

I think that outweighs the OOC schedule edge

The crazy thing is that if I was a Nubb fan, I would much rather be in Dayton than a 10 seed in the tournament.

Losing to a tier 3 should negate one tier 1 and one tier 2 game, imo.

This Tier thing is even more Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) than just looking at rpi and rpi wins. A fine combo of laziness and anachronism.

My problem with the tier thing would be that it waters down really good wins.  A win at home against TCU shouldn't be anywhere near a win @Virginia.  I guess you have to draw the line somewhere in trying to simplify the process but I feel like road/neutral top 15 wins should be a tier of their own.
