Look captaincrap, I understand your point. I just wish that since we are spending 85 mill on this project that we wouldn't have to cut corners on aesthetics.
Maybe they're leaving room between the press box and the parking lot for the....(drum roll, please)........LAZY RIVER!!!!!

K-State would probably just cut corners and we would end up with a 3 foot wide ditch.
Imagine Anderson Hall or Hale Library squatted down in the middle of a massive parking lot. No trees. Still nice buildings, but much less impressive. Our Castle is awesome. Just less awesome than it should be. Oh well.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt, CC. (back me up here, FR). I mean yeah we'll all get over not having trees, but for heaven's sakes CC don't pretend like they wouldn't be both A) awesome and B) feasible.

I don't know what else to tell you about them -- information was available that indicated they wouldn't be a good idea given the space available and the way that space is utilized on gameday. I realize the end result of that decision is disappointing to you. But you will have to trust me that the decision was made in an effort to create the best gameday environment, not a "cutting corners" move or some sort of shortcoming or mistake. Can we move on?
Thx. CC. Are we going to see LHCBS statue?
