Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.

Maybe Currie is just going to have  a "plant a family tree" day where K-State families willing to pay $3000 can drive their family tree around the stadium before the game and then go plant it out front and put a sign with their family name in front of it.

Roses are used as an early warning system for fungus around vineyards.  I would suggest amending this with some grapevines to really cement us as Grapes in society's collective mind.

Or we could hang a few of the longest and largest banners of all time and make them look like a limestone wall.

a barbed wire fence would be an interesting option to explore.  as would a sideline long pit of quicksand.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

what a better way to feature the new meatgoat facility than to have them roaming our sidelines.  might have to dehorn the goats though (ouch otherwise).

what ever happened to the great idea of "the lazy river". I was really looking forward to it.

Usually I would say goats can't swim.

I however picture our new wall being more of a lazy river with goats grazing on lazy rivers ships with the sails having giant Briggs logos on them.

I've never thought much of this idea.

Wouldn't a "raging river" around the field be more intimidating than a "lazy" one?  Maybe there'd be insurance or code issues related to all the raging.

It might make watching the game in progress a bit of a challenge.  We may have to form a focus group to help make a determination.

with a game where we are rough ridin' mushing the crap out of a team and knowing how pak'ed i can get a lazy river would lead me to a fine. i would more than likely throw my big 12 championship cup in the river just to see if it would float by me later

Might want to go take some last photos of Niles and Frasier, as they are scheduled be taken down by the end April / early May

Niles being dismantled today. Frasier either later this week or early next. Costs nearly $40K per week to have the cranes up and running.

Don't know exactly what this means.

April 17-18, 2013 Fiscal Affairs & Audit
90
AGENDA
Fiscal Affairs and Audit Standing Committee
Wednesday, April 17, 2013
10:30am-11:50am
Kansas Board of Regents Office, Board Room

3.
Receive Information from KSU – Increased Scope
of LHC LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium Phase II
Capital Improvement Project, Cindy Bontrager

Scope now includes East side lights, parking lot lights/poles, and other stuff like furniture, fixtures and equipment that was originally budgeted as a separate cost. K-State is lumping all of that in the "WSC Project Budget". Since part of the cost is bonded through the state, the BoR needs to know. Once those extra things are added, the WSC project will be considered to be an approx. $85M facility project.
