of LHC LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium Phase II
Capital Improvement Project, Cindy Bontrager

Scope now includes East side lights, parking lot lights/poles, and other stuff like furniture, fixtures and equipment that was originally budgeted as a separate cost. K-State is lumping all of that in the "WSC Project Budget". Since part of the cost is bonded through the state, the BoR needs to know. Once those extra things are added, the WSC project will be considered to be an approx. $85M facility project.

Original plans had 5-7ft square planter box-type things around the base. You can see them here:


Facility is a bit closer to the parking lot than in that image, so the decision was made to leave the tree planters out.

Heard video board is being looked at for 2014, haven't heard about the others

Also I will always be sad about the trees. Would make things less Wal-Mart-y.   We should just take out the first spot in each row and create more space that way so our addition can be so so sweet.

If they ever get around to building that office building/restaurant complex over there by Bramlage (as the master plan pictures show), you totally need to put up a Party Deck similar to what they have at Royals Stadium.  It would be so elite.
