Pretty sure the "Gas" was in reference to how small timey of kick off this remodel had. It may have been a bit better if he would have said, 'Charge the batteries on the Bobcat!"

I'll tell you what I am going to do when I come into town for Fatty Fest.  I'm going to drive over to the basketball facility construction site, and the football construction site, and I am going to sniff out every uncapped exposed re-bar like a fart in a car.  Going to take pics off all of them.

I think you should take any recently injured goemawer that has a large gash in their arm or leg and have them stand next to the exposed re-bar. Would be even better if someone has the flesh eating bacteria (t's $ p's). (See what I did there?)

Milwaukee's Best would be more likely.  Available in all liquor stores, everywhere, and in the same price range as Hamm's (even though the Hamm's bear is more adorable).

True story:  I was once looking at a Hamm's clock in a catalog, and I showed it to a woman I worked with, and she said she "saw the Hamm's bear every night".  I told that to another co-worker, and they said "Nice job, bad person, she's an alcoholic that gets drunk on Hamm's every night."

the wide shot from the east stands will be awesome when they demolish it if it's one of those "blow it up with dynamite" type demolitions... if it's just one of those "take it apart kinda slow with wrecking balls" type demolitions, it'll be cool, but not AS cool

"Substantially completed by 2013 season" I believe are the exact words.  Think that means usable but not fully finished.   

Substantially complete means that he building/project can be used for it's intended purpose.  So, yeah, there may still be some small stuff to do like punch list work on the inside, or landscaping/some site work on the outside, but it means that you will be able to use it as intended.  That said, I am sure that, given the high money types that will be housed in this place during games, there are prob some extensive liquidated damages due per game if the joint isn't ready.  I would also bet that, again due to the high money types being the end users, that there will be an unbelievable push put forth to make it seem as complete as possible aesthetically.  Meaning they will try very hard to give the high money types a very good impression of the project as they walk their butts from car to seat.
