LMAO @ the I-35N / Highway 69N / 87th St / 75th St interchange finishing up last week after years of construction... and it's now slower than it was when it was under construction

yeah it does.  I go from to Olathe in the morning and back to downtown in the evening, so I don't normally hit traffic, but I still complain.

maybe goEMAW should organize this event free of charge as a surprise to the AD.  save them some cash.  everyone show up in your largest piece of mobile equipment friday afternoon.

"substantial completion" is a construction term basically meaning done enough that the general doesn't have to pay over schedule fees and the owners can move in, but minor work or touch ups still have to be done.

I think the plan is to tear down the Dev Nelson pressbox as soon as the 2012 season is complete (early Dec 2012).  The next powercat auction won't be until April 2013.  It will be a little late to put the wrecking ball up for bid.
