Absolutely true.  It's wild that there have only been a few people with a few bad things to say about it.  The switch to [whatever design firm they went to] really paid off imo.

Most of them have it so wrong, that it's absolutely comical.

As always, the funniest parts for me is their sense of time regarding their own projects.   From the moment of serious consideration (which was nearly 10 years after Mason asked for it), to completion . . . it was 6 to 7 years on the football facility.     The "Olympic Village" concept first came to light to the general public 3 or 4 years ago, and original architectural renderings are 5 to 6 years old minimum.

As usual they tend to co-mingle everything.

The basketball training facility was a seperate project, from what I understand $16 million dollars has been committed towards that project.   If the article on K-State sports is to be believed somewhere around $25 to $30 million dollars has been committed towards the Football Stadium Project.    So, nearly $50 million dollars has been committed by private donors towards both projects.   

Currie has only been working on this stuff in earnest for about 2 years, in his first year this stuff was placed on hold while the whole athletic department was basically re-organized.
