Best part, not an engineer or architect so I don't even fully understand what I'm looking at, just know it looks cool and is expensive and stuff.

isn't the whole point of renderings to easily present the general design to people who are not engineers or architects?

To reiterate, not an architect or engineer, but I have what I call the water colors, the survey/legals.  It is what was presented to the AD.

Not that it matters, what I think is cool will be summarily rejected as not cool by half the people on this board who are going to hate whatever is presented regardless of how cool it is.

I'm crossing my fingers at getting some pics of renderings.  I working my dad to work a friend to take some photos on the side while at meetings.  However, words such as "integrity" and "professionalism" (along with "not wanting to pi$$ of the A.D.'s office") are really getting in the way.

I just want to know how close to the $80 million price tag my friend threw out there is.

If it is $80M, that's what they spent to redo Kinnick, and that was a very solid redo.

If it is $80M, that's what they spent to redo Kinnick, and that was a very solid redo.

Well, I can't cite the actual dollar amount.  However, the person in question has stated it will be first class and threw out the word "impressive" (and this is an individual that has worked on many facilities and would be familiar with Kinnick).
