Any insidery info on when this project will officially be announced?

I was told everything is a go in January.  I didn't get more than that.  I asked when we would see renderings, and I was told that they could come during the bowl season, but that was just an assumption based on the January start.

 

I haven't heard anything since I talked with my friend during the Texas game.  I'll call tomorrow.

Well, yeah, it's happening.  It's not a question of "if it will happen".  It's happening.  From what I've been told, the AE COM stuff slowed them down, and the scope of the project was being debated. 

The number I heard was $80 million.  That's $20 million higher than what we heard before. Now, whether that's right or not will be seen, but that's the number I was told during the Texas game.

Request for rendering of this...preferably in Microsoft Paint or equivalent software application.

I have the renderings in my office.  And no, I'm not going to post them on this website because obviously that's not allowed.  Be patient you silly little children.

Best part, not an engineer or architect so I don't even fully understand what I'm looking at, just know it looks cool and is expensive and stuff.

isn't the whole point of renderings to easily present the general design to people who are not engineers or architects?
