the close proximity to the Vanier Complex will provide us a significant convenience factor year-round

Why settle for close when closest or connected is available?

And lol at them leaving the old version at the end of the video.

The Stadium is awesome now guys.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Yeah it really is. It's hard to believe how far we've come. Remember when we were excited about the renovations to Vanier back in '05?

I think we need to do what the lady owner does in major league the movie. These players are obviously too coddled we need to start taking things away from them so they get better

I can’t see them doing much more to the outdoor track because Kstate only hosts a significant outdoor event every ten years or so.  The rotation of significant outdoor events is pretty set every season.

They do need the new indoor track badly.

So they’re going to pave the student lot, but don’t know where the students are moving too. They already said it won’t be the rec center because that’s where the $500 donation GA/lot 9 parking is moving. They can’t force any other lots around to become student tailgating & the people already tailgating in those lots won’t leave. Sucks for the students. Wonder if taking away student tailgating will hurt attendance.

I understand they need to keep donors happy, but killing student tailgating seems short sighted to me.

I think they could do a better job with some of the surrounding lots like ag lot and the foundation. I bet students just move a bit further out. But I agree with the sentiment.

It's behind a scoreboard and it seemed to only have one beer stand with like 3 registers. People whining about it can get the eff over it. The athletic department was very clear it wouldn't have a view of the field and no one is requiring them to use it.

Sidenote, there is now a beer garden also on the north side of the pressbox matching the first one built on the south side. I don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere.

Guys, we announced a $75 million project the same day we opened a $50 million project. I know it's en vogue here to bitch and whine about gene and literally ever-y-thing, but holy crap, it's us and UT in this conference on absolute building sprees, no one else is close. This doesn't count the work that will be done on Bramlage in 2024 when this stuff is done.

We're on a damn roll.

Are we going into a bunch of debt for this or did a donor step up and pay for it?

I repeat, our stadium/athletic park is awesome now. Whatever they end up doing w/ the practice facility, practice field and Volleyball will be awesome as well.

They should waste some money and make the outside of fOOD another limestone castle looking thing.

Lmao at parking complaints. People will adapt. They’ll have no choice.

Not to be a dick but the headline of the release says the department has raised $96.5 million

Damn that’s some serious scratch, great job by the fundraisers.  The rest shouldn’t be hard to service, even with our reduced future revenues.

You can laugh at the parking complaints if you want. You can also realize that the project is the right thing to do & still think it sucks the students are the only group they haven’t planned for & are going to be the ones getting screwed.

Also, there were a lot of people just asking questions about what would happen to their parking & other people bought into Scott’s typical arrogant yelling bullshit telling them to just shut up & piled on with him.

What student parking? I always made a long hike to the stadium and never thought a thing about it.

Yeah I never knew there was designated student parking.

I also haven't been to a game since Ronald Prince's final game.

I honestly didn’t know there was either, but I was a poor who didn’t have a car and had to walk to campus from westloop every day
