Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.

I'm still curious about Coach Snyder's office and the reported gaffe.  Anything new about that?

Bro, it's like a 4 foot wide beam right in the middle.

I just wondered if that was part of the design or an error in construction.  And didn't know if there was any plan to remove it sometime.  Thanks, though.

I think the corners will be symmetrical.  just, one will be full of boozehounds and the other with band dorks eating apples in gym shorts

what's the issue here?

NE corner brainstorm here.  I wonder if the architects have thought of a food/grazing trough for this thing yet?

Hey SB, can you give us another example of one stadium that didn't take the original architectural style into consideration when expanding and subsequently looks LOL?

Not goEMAWing*, I actually think it'll look great on gamedays.

BUT, my issue has been since the plans for the WSC were announced. Amazing facility, but it has never fit the style/design of our stadium (unless we had future plans to make a similar structure on the east, which we don't). Then you add in this NEZ expansion that has so many different characteristics, and now we have a west side that doesn't match anything, a NW corner/North stands/soon to be NE corner that doesn't match anything, and an east side that doesn't match.

With as much money as they've put into this thing, it should look a lot less piece-mealed, IMHO. Very happy with the actual Vanier 2.0 and what it does for the program, not the stade tho.

Yeah, K-State has a bit of a symmetry issue, but take the new 49'ers stadium (Below).    In this day an age you need the money people buying suites and club seats and they don't want to be 40 stories above the field.

Arrowhead was good for that, thing is, you can't build an Arrowhead anymore, particularly the lower seating bowl.   Building codes won't allow it, that's what they were saying when they were making the case for renovation over a new stadium.   They couldn't emulate the lower seating bowl and the number of people that close to the field and thus the noise.

Has anyone said where the visiting locker room is temporarily?

we're making them change on their bus.

I thought we were making them dress in the sheep field across the street?

I know it would've been kind of bland on the inside, but I really liked this concept for the WSC (if there are no plans to redo the east to somewhat match the new west). You could make the exterior extremely castly, but have the interior match the east for the most part, which in turn, they could make a facade on the east to match the castly west.

Thanks to @Boakai.

True. I think that stadium looks weird. But at least it ALL looks weird, as in, it was all designed with the modern aesthetic.

I was trying to get better looks at UGA's stadium addition mis-mash when I ran across this image I want to share with you all

http://cfbmatrix.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Sanford-Stadium-2060.jpg

Pretty good high-red overhead shot of the stadium, right?

Look in the upper right of the frame... go ahead, i'll wait.   Yes.  Yes that is what it looks like.  There is a cemetery directly adjacent to Samford stadium.  Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.  Why would you build a college football stadium right next to a cemetery?  The south is creepy, you guys.

What codes restrict the lower bowl? (not being a butthole, genuine question dax!)

As I recall when watching part of the lead architect presentation on the Arrowhead renovations.   He said specifically that the lower seating bowl at Arrowhead could not be duplicated in a new facility in terms of seat density and space due to revised codes since Arrowhead was constructed.

I could be wrong, but I'm almost sure that was a component in the debate of new stadium vs renovation.
