Yeah, and good luck hiring a coach with that column in the office. Dod you guys know that out of 12685 head coaches in all of collegiate sports ever, only 2 have had columns in their office (bill and Goeffrey Predodrovicske, Cornell Badminton, 1883).

Aren't we at the point now technologically that we don't need columns?in Big Hero 6, they use nanobots for everything. I'm more upset the they didn't use more nanobots, stem cells, etc

I think the corners will be symmetrical.  just, one will be full of boozehounds and the other with band dorks eating apples in gym shorts

what's the issue here?

NE corner brainstorm here.  I wonder if the architects have thought of a food/grazing trough for this thing yet?

My c- source says ball pit.  My B+ source heard they want a small petting zoo and more better parking for harleys on harley day.

I think they'll forget to include something important like electricity, and instead spend all this donor dollars on more columns.

What codes restrict the lower bowl? (not being a butthole, genuine question dax!)

As I recall when watching part of the lead architect presentation on the Arrowhead renovations.   He said specifically that the lower seating bowl at Arrowhead could not be duplicated in a new facility in terms of seat density and space due to revised codes since Arrowhead was constructed.

I could be wrong, but I'm almost sure that was a component in the debate of new stadium vs renovation.

So essentially, they cant touch arrowhead without updating everything to code. is that right?

I think it will look good with fans. Besides the cruise ship, everything is pretty bland inside the stadium

No.  They did touch Arrowhead remember.    The point was, that a new stadium could not have the seating density of Arrowhead.

I believe you could put like 1.5 old Meadowlands Stadium into new Meadowlands Stadium.  They both had about the same capacity.  Part of that is design choice, part of that is code.

So incredibly #blessed.

I mean, less than ten years ago we had an athletic director piling up folding chairs and inflatable arm people in the North end-zone.  And now look at us big time our new $65 million facility over some details.

We need to be reminded of this daily. Makes arguing over how many trees to have seem very petty.

Man. I agree with everything SB said.  Samford Stadium was absolutely gorgeous.  Probably my favorite stadium prior to the weirdo addition.  Still not as weird as GT's stadium, so they have that going for them.

And the 49ers stadium makes me want to barf.

Also, Illinois has an incredibly large cemetery right next to its football stadium (and law school) too.  Illinois's stadium is actually a pretty hot piece of ass IYAM.

Talk about symmetry.  The roman Colosseum which was built 1945 years ago.  Capacity was 50,000

Still can't believe they failed so hard at tying the north endzone to the east sideline deck.

Havs, what are your thoughts on the inside of BSFS? (looks, style, etc. No need to comment on the outside because we all know it's like the most awesomest looking thing ever*)
