I can confirm that Bishop was at the UT game a couple of years ago and pak'd with us for a couple of hours. He was a good dude. Quiet and unassuming. He had his nephew with him, who was in juco somewhere and wanted to play D1 football. He was pretty small.

I met a lot of really great former Cats that day.

This will be awesome so long as they check to make sure it's only groups of cat fans purchasing the bulk tickets. Imagine how embarrassing that would be if a bunch of TCU oil money came and ate all of our premium food options.

and some games are only 10k and 13k. so it'd only be 100 or 130. i'm in for two and could probably get another two. that's like 4% of the way there!

A minimum of 100 tickets sounds like a lot. I understand that they would like to sell the whole thing at once, but that doesn't seem realistic.

It's a corporate area, not a bachelor party area.  I don't think they'll have any trouble selling 100 at a time.

Fair enough. But if the max capacity of the area is 150 but you are willing to only sell 100 tickets aren't you leaving 1/3 of the space unfilled? #math

It's possible there is 2-3 groups per game, I dunno.

Seems likely that people will be buying 100 tickets and only 70 attend,so who knows what the deal is.

Sporting KC has a very similar area in their stadium. They offer it to groups and then a few weeks before each game they sell the remaining tickets to individuals. It costs ~$80 person.

If they sold those seats individually I bet they could sell it out $150 for the noncon games and $200 for the premium games.

So you can eat $150.00 of hotdogs, brisket, coleslaw, tator salad, baked beans, and lots of pepsi or iced tea.
