there should be an iowa state football is hurting thread.
This thread got very defensive with that last question. Its like you guys don't even know me...
Quote from: Haverhill on May 08, 2015, 09:36:37 AMWill K-State ever bother reaching 60k seats?Maybe when the Manhattan population doubles with NBAF. For now, we prefer to keep supply of seats low to drive up ticket prices. :cashmoney: BSFS is already louder than most 60k seat stadiums anyway.
Will K-State ever bother reaching 60k seats?

K-State doesn't have Des Moines right down the road so it makes sense that there aren't many fans who just decide to go to a game on a wim.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning. They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

there just isn't anything better to do in Des Moines apparently than watch crappy football

Got to see the stadium this weekend and the NE screen is bananas. The whole building is much bigger than I anticipated. Very excited for the fall.

I think they want people to buy tix and go inside, instead of tailgating and staying out in the lots.
