I think this was a couple hundred pages back, but the neon backlit purple powercats all over the new east side are very k-stateo. I assume there will be a similar theme on the NEZ? It's not quite clip-art, but it's not quite classy, either.

Is this new addition really that much of an upgrade? These pictures look like virtually the same number of seats, but steeper. Also, the building is bigger than old Vanier, but with more athletic dept shoved into it, does football really have that much more space?

132,000 sqft compared to 64,000 sqft
Locker room doubles in sqft
weight room more than doubles in sqft
academic center doubles in sqft
equipment room doubles in sqft

So yea...a lot more space for everybody.

Aside from doubling the sqft, the connected concourse and filled corners are pretty huge improvement, IMO. aesthetically and functionally.
