Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

Aside from doubling the sqft, the connected concourse and filled corners are pretty huge improvement, IMO.  aesthetically and functionally.

do you know when they are connecting the concourses and filling in the corners?

The plan for the NE corner is next off-season. I've not heard anything otherwise.  But, I'm sure that cinderblock subcontractor has more insidery info than anybody on here.

also the videoboards. and the facilities inside the building will be on a new level.

like, what kind of rough ridin' question is that havs?
not very well thought out was it?

I'm pretty sure it was a veiled attempt at making some comparison to whatever ISU is doing.

so this is kind of an updated to scale view.

this was neat. thanks, TBT.

we'll have to do it again when the structure is more complete height wise.

This picture illustrates it well. I had heard the athletic dept was moving in there as well, which would put a lot more people into the space had it not been significantly larger.

They should replace the harley track with the endzone-purple turf. Gives the illusion of the track still being there without it actually being there

It's strictly the senior athletic administration moving in, and they will occupy half of one floor.

The rest of the place will be entirely for football . . . and since we have to caveat it based on coaching hires, fund raising and facilities.   That facilities stud John Currie has seen fit to have state of the art conference rooms put in for athletic administration in both the BTF and now Vanier 2.0.

Now if he'd just convene an athletic board of directors special meeting to fire oscar Weber right down the hall from oscar's office.

Football will be given the priority, obviously (I assume).  But they're marketing the NEZ as a facility that'll be utilized by all KSU student-athletes.

“It is time for a major upgrade to better position not just the football program, but also enhance the experience of all 450 of our student-athletes in our 16 sports whose scholastic and athletic pursuits are supported from the Academic Learning Center, sports medicine, strength and conditioning and equipment infrastructure located in the north end zone."  -kstatesports.com

yeah everyone can get in there.  I think the hydro/sports medicine stuff is the biggest deal and the ALC.  idk how many other sports use the football weight room.  baseball and basketball have their own.

I used to go fix computers at the ALC and would always see a mix in there, it's pretty much just the private computer lab for athletes

and yeah it's a lot nicer than the other computer labs on campus (as it should be)

of course now it's rubble and I'm sure the new one will be like 10x better

Yes, all sports (minus BB and BSB) will use 2.0's weight room and training room. Right now almost everyone is going through the BTF for therapy and weight training stuff was moved into the indoor baseball facility.
