I think Vanier will look just fine.  A lot of times the windows look completely different from renderings.  In this recent rendering, the grassy knoll (below corner scoreboards) looks like a small GA section.  My guess is they are still trying to decide what to do with the corners and there is plenty of time to change it.  Some water features would be pretty cool in each corner with purple LED accent lights.

Maybe we could incorporate a really steep grassy hill that is impossible to sit on without almost sliding all the way to the bottom like at T-Bones stadium.

guys, what about this?

maybe wrap some kind of large (large) SRO around the north side of OOD that would connect the NW OOD entrance to the NE OOD entrance. you then expand the legends room or whatever in the process and open up OOD concourse for concessions and bathrooms during the game.

sounds perfect.  don't they already open up the North side of OOD on gameday for football traffic + restroom access?

my main issue would be this: if you look at the maps/layout thingys, the new Vanier doesn't even extend as far north as the current one. so we're building this thing all close with super steep stands simply because we don't want to add a couple hundred to capacity to match the grade of the SEZ? seems like we're not looking to the future and limiting what we can do in the corners with this set up, ya know?

Keeping the north face of the new vanier as far south as possible will allow for kimball to shift south and the set back requirements be met when we finally add a new indoor practice facility across the street (north of kimball)
